Here's to new beginnings.

We have a couple of interesting stories and a humorous vid on the 2010 Salomon Skyrun on our website at the moment. Go check them out.

Also, congratulations to Nic White and Team Medscheme on winning the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge in Joburg yesterday. What a perfect way for Nic to end his full-time career in professional cycling. Watch out for his top cycling tips in our next issue (14.6 Jan/Feb)

All the best
The Go Multi Team

Latest issue

You're a runner, a cyclist, a mountain biker or a swimmer, but do you paddle? It's one of the major disciplines in many multisport races, so if you don't maybe it's time you looked at starting this amazing sport. Our latest issue will be indispensable if you do. We have collaborated with multiple Dusi champ Martin Dreyer to bring you an in-depth look at how to start and prepare for races. If you are entering Dusi for the first time next February you will also not want to miss this issue, Martin knows all the ins and outs. He has some very humorous views on the difference between bad luck, incompetence and judgment when it comes to paddling.

We also look at big mountain riding and how you should approach it, how to strengthen your back if you're a paddler or mountain biker and Dan Hugo takes a look at all the gadgets that he would like to get his hands on if money was no object.

Dietitian Keri Strachan also looks at how we can lower our carbon food print in everyday living. Yes, you read that right.

In terms of events, we really have a treat in store for you with a huge photo essay on the amazing Southern Storm off-road staged duathlon as well as coverage of the inaugural Gateway Gauntlet indoor MTB race and the Merrell Eden Duo adventure race. We also have tips on how to approach the Totalsports Challenge seven-discipline race, taking place in early January between Gordon's Bay and Kleinmond.

FEAT vids

The latest videos from FEAT (Fascinating Expedition and Adventure Talks) that took place at Joburg's Wits Theatre in October are up on their website www.featsa.co.za The next FEAT will be at Artscape in Cape Town on 12 February 2011. Tickets will be available from Computicket early December.
